A large-scale sculpture by Kozo Nishino was installed in the atrium that connects the east and west towers of Otemachi PLACE, a large-scale office building with over 350,000 ㎡ of floor space which opened on September 25, 2018.

About the sculptor Kozo Nishino
Born in 1951, in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Active as an artist since the 1980s. Working with metal materials such as titanium, aluminum, stainless steel and iron, Nishino has produced a large number of grand-scale public artworks of superb visual beauty and structural strength. Nishino’s works have been installed at sites in Tokyo, Seoul, Canberra and other locations around the world, and are held in art museum collections such as the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, and Shanghai’s Power Station of Art. In 2011, Nishino was awarded the Shin Hongo Prize, in 2014 The 27th Kyoto Fine Arts Cultural Award, and in 2012 exhibited at the 9th Shanghai Biennale. A new work installed in the 4WTC, NYC, USA(2013), ACT (Australian Capital Territory), Canberra, Australia(2015), KIOI Tower (Tokyo Garden Terrace main tower), Tokyo(2016).
