Biography
- 1911
- Born in Kochi Prefecture.
- 1933
- Completes a postgraduate course at the Kochi Prefectural School of Education.
- 1948-49
- Meets Yoshihara Jirō at the Kobe Citizens’ Art course and begins studying under him.
- 1954
- Helps form the Gutai Art Association [member until dissolution in ’72].
- 1995
- Dies at the age of 84 on August 22.
